Refund Policy for American Chestnut Seedlings and Seeds

American Chestnut Seedling Bundles
We are committed to delivering high-quality American chestnut seedlings grown with care at Z’s Nutty Ridge. If your seedlings arrive damaged or fail to establish within 90 days of planting, provided they receive proper care as outlined in our planting instructions, we will replace them at no cost. To process a replacement, please contact our support team with photos or documentation of the issue to help us improve our quality. Replacements will be shipped during the next appropriate planting season (typically mid-October to early November), subject to availability.

American Chestnut Seeds
Our American chestnut seeds are carefully selected and shipped to arrive in viable condition. We warrant that seeds will arrive undamaged and suitable for planting. If your seeds arrive in poor condition, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos or documentation, and we will replace them at no cost, subject to availability. Due to the perishable nature of seeds, no further warranty applies after delivery.

Shipping Restrictions
We cannot ship seedlings or seeds to California, Oregon, Washington, or Michigan due to state agricultural regulations. Orders placed from these states will be canceled and fully refunded.

General Terms

All refund or replacement requests must be submitted through our support team via the orders@americastrees.com.

We do not offer cash refunds unless required by law or in cases of canceled orders due to shipping restrictions.

Customers are responsible for following provided care instructions, as improper care voids replacement eligibility.

Replacement shipping costs are covered by Z’s Nutty Ridge, but customers may need to return items for quality assessment at our expense.
